I don’t think of myself as a highly descriptive writer, but somehow I always manage to paint vivid scenes full of color and imagery (at least, that’s what readers tell me!).
Describing through Henry’s eyes has been an experience in and of itself, though. The man is a genius, plus a demon experiencing freedom, plus a good man sharing head space with memories not his own… And let’s not forget, he pays attention to detail. Like, it’s what he does–minding the little things.
So, how are the descriptions filtered through such a character? Pretty damn unique.
